1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, downloading, accessing, or using Grocery, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Service.

Grocery is operated by Startups Engineering ("we", "us", or "our").

3. Account Eligibility and Security

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the legal minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use this Service.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any suspected breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use Grocery to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Service or API.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our backend infrastructure or networks.
• Engage in automated scraping, data mining, or unauthorized reverse engineering of the application.
• Transmit malicious code, viruses, automated scripts, or excessive requests to disrupt app availability.

5. User Content and License

You retain full ownership of all data, text, grocery lists, items, and metadata you upload or create within the Service ("User Content").

By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and sync your content solely as necessary to operate, display, and deliver the Service to you and your authorized devices.

6. Service Availability and Updates

We strive to provide reliable performance, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operational uptime. We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or temporarily discontinue features of the Service at any time for maintenance, upgrades, or security reasons.

7. Subscriptions and Paid Features

While core features of Grocery may be offered free of charge, we reserve the right to introduce premium features or subscription tiers. Any applicable pricing, billing terms, or renewal policies will be clearly disclosed prior to purchase within the app.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time via the app settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account access immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by legal authorities.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, STARTUPS ENGINEERING SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Service following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those updates.
